Ok so this is my first month on birth control. I was put on it to regulate my periods. I am on cyclen 28. Anyways last week was my third week and I beld all week. This week I am on the placebo pills and I started my period but I am bleeding bright orange.... Is this normal...Its kind of weird and I am starting to get worried. I am not sexually active. Any answers about what to do or if I should even do anything at all would be greatly apreciated!
Thanks Confused

Hmm. I do not think I have ever heard of bright orange blood. You should let your doctor know about any changes that you notice in your cycle anyway.

many girls who are not sexually active go on the pill to help regulate and shorten their period. Also, some parents encourage their girls to go on the pill when they get close to becoming sexually active so that they are prepared by having birth control, knowing how to use it, and being used to using it.
