I have an adult daughter with symptoms very similar to what you are describing, and I feel your pain. I am fortunate enough to have a relative who is a medical doctor in the same city I live in and after witnessing my daughter's delusional behavior he initiated having her taken to a mental health facility. This did involve the police coming with the mental health doctor to take her to the hospital, which I didn't expect but there is no easy way to deal with this. I am not a medical professional but from my recent experiences with my daughter I believe you badly need to find someone to help you.
Are there any family members that will help you get your husband medical help? A pastor if you belong to a church? Look in the telephone directory for mental health services. Most cities have this type of service offered by non-profit organizations, or even connected to city/county/state government. A councilor at this type of service might give you some direction.
Here's the hard part: you are the spouse living in the same household. You probably have the most power to force him to get help. You see, and suffer from, his behavior up close like no one else.
And, YOUR well being is important also. You may need to think about staying somewhere else until your husband gets the medical care he obviously needs. You are the best judge of that.
GET HELP FROM FRIENDS OR FAMILY but have no doubt that your husband is in BAD need of medical care.
