I think i had accidentally drink water that might contain some iron rust. It was believed to come from a iron nail that rusted when mixed with hot water/ water. I think this had been one year. Pls advise is how will it affect my health and how can i go about checking. Thank you.

Anxiety & Stress Answer A2333

Iron rust, chemically, is Fe2O3 (iron (III) oxide) or FeO (iron (II) oxide). These substances are not toxic for the body in such small amounts. It doesnât seem likely that something bad will happen to you, so you probably wonât need any medical attention.
