Sometimes when i'm dreaming I dream i'm
drowning or suffocating and when I wake up
I still can't breathe. But now even when
I start to fall asleep my throat closes
up. What's with this?

You didn't say how old you are but as we
get older the muscles in the back of our
throat become less toned and have the
habit of collapsing into our airway. If
it's not too serious you should be able to
successfully use one of those stop snoring
throat sprays as they tend to firm this
area in the throat. However if the
problem is a really serious one you could
consider surgery to open the airway more.
