Q: 10 weeks and High Blood Preasure

Hello im pregnant with my third baby, about 10 weeks along. My blood preasure is up about 140/80 sometimes higher. The doc put me on labatelol. But isn.T working to good. Does anyone have any advice on how to lower my blood preasure.Im so scared of losing this baby.

See your doctor again and tell them that its not working, high blood pressure could lead to problems, my sister had high blood pressure which led to pre-eclampsia and she gave birth prematurely, please look into this to get the blood pressure back down

Thanks for the advice. I was preaclampsic with myother two children and had both of them early. I seen the doc last week and she uped my meds again. Hopefully things will be alright. Thanks.
