Sounds like it is semen that has been left inside you.

i am female. You had sex last night you said. He came inside you, i'm assuming since you are trying to get pregnant, right? More than likely the stringy stuff you are describing is semen.

unless this happens to you every month, in which case, yes. But then, if it did happen every month, you wouldn't be asking about it.

thats a bad thing then because I was hoping to have sex on my fertile days where my cervical mucus is the texture of egg whites. You know, so I can conceive around ovulation

This is completely normal. Semen will not stay in you. Rest assured the sperm can still do their job whether the semen is in you or not!

How long have you been ttc? It takes the average couple a year to conceive a baby - so if you are new at this, it might not happen the first time around.

That sticky stuff was indeed from preovulation fertile cervical mucus. And I defenetly had sex that day! I hope I get a bfp (become preggers)...
