From the night we met we've been together. I know it's cheezy, but it really is like we always knew each other.

We have a complicated, per say, relationship.

we were really good friends in high school.. he was dating some crazy and I was finding out who I was, etc.

Senior year we decided to go to the movies (every weekend).. he told me one day he was going to join the navy, and I told him I don't want to be without him so we kind of just became official even though we'd been seeing each other for almost a year. (I just turned 21 this year)

So, this month is 2 years.. he's in Italy, and it's really difficult but I do love him.
but we don't talk like we used to.. and we don't really have much to talk about (unless something exciting happens) but I just like being able to be on the phone with him.
So sometimes I'm okay with it but sometimes I'm unhappy just because I know this isn't going to go away.. seeing as how he'll be there for another 3 years.

We are married 50 years, 3 months and counting...Never, but never, would I have ever thought that older age could be like this...I am more in love with him now than the day I married him....We are one....
