My friend is taking the pill. She is currently on the placebo pill, but is only on the fourth day...Her husband is coming home early..And she wants to stop her period. If she skips the rest of the placebos, and goes straight to the "regular" pills....What are the chances her period will stop?

It is 50/50.

The very first time women try and skip their period, they often are unsuccessful, and they will even bleed lightly for 2 weeks into the next pack.

She can try, but tell her not to be alarmed if she has spotting for 2 weeks into her next pack.
