It seems I never am sure when a b/m will occur, since i've been on fiber supplements at the advise of my doctor. He said I have ibs but I really think it's just constipation. Anyway, since i've been on it, I can't ever count on regular b/m's but i'll suddenly know I need to find a bathroom. Also, i'm gassy, and have internal hemorrhoids. When I do go, it seems everytime I go to the bathroom, I have a b/m and after 3 or 4 times the bleeding occurs. I wonder if anyone here has had that problem too?
I feel it's from all the straining and (pardon me---wiping) that irritates the hemorrhoids.
I had a colonoscopy 8 years ago and was fine. I'm upper 60's now and female.
