Ok, dh just called me at work to say that
his mom told his sister that she (his mom)
doesn't like me because I don't like her
(his mom). What freaking crap! She's
mad because I don't trust her boyfriend
because dh's life experiences with her
boyfriends (one of her boyfriend's killed
himself in front of dh when he was 13,
plus other things different boyfriends
have done lead me to believe that she
actively looks for lunatics). My own
life experiences lead me to strongly
believe "the better safe than sorry"
school of thought. Anyhoo, she's pissed
because when we were in nj she asked if
her bf could hold the baby upstairs. I
said that if he wanted to hold chu he
could come downstairs like everyone else.
So as soon as my back was turned she
took chu from where I had set him down and
snuck upstairs with him. I turned
around and chu was gone so I was freaking
out asking everyone where chu was. Some
relative or other told me that she had
taken chu upstairs. So I go upstairs
and I see her in her doorway at the end of
the hallway but she's not holding chu (so
she had to have given him to her bf).
She sees me then looks at me like  and then slams the
door in my face. I ran down and got dh
and made him bring chu back. I was
ticked that she was that dishonest and
sneaky... Miguel talked to her about it
before we left and she tried to act like I
never told her that she couldn't take the
baby upstairs... 
yeah okay. Now she's telling people
that she doesn't like me because I don't
like her. Whatthefeckever!!! I'm so
pissed now... She disrespected me, not
the other way around...

Oh she really wouldn't have liked me
then. I would have kicked that door down
if she'd slammed it in my face with my
child inside there. Oh hell no.
And then I would have let her know (not
nicely, either) that she never
takes my child anywhere without my
permission. Eff that. Her boyfriend
isn't kin to .Chu and has no rights to
him. She had no right sneaking off with
your child.

Yesterday I was in a grocery store buying
some food for .Alyvia, and while I was in
the checkout a guy that works there walked
up and was talking to the baby. Which I
don't mind, really, but the stuff he was
saying was pissing me off slightly, plus
he was talking in really annoying baby
talk. He was like "do you keep your mommy
up all night?" and I told him "no she
doesn't, she sleeps very well" and he kept
talking to her like "you should wake up
every hour and cry and wake your mommy and
daddy up" blah blah blah, which I was like
to but I tried to ignore him and finish
paying.
Then he started to grab her hand while he
was still talking to her and I turned
around so
fast and pulled her away from his
reach and said "don't touch my daughter"
really loudly. Everyone turned around and
looked at him and he turned soooo red.
One of his bosses was walking up to him
when I left.
What makes people think they're entitled
to little babies? Touching them, holding
them, whatever? I don't doing it know you.
Do you have a contagious disease? Do you
wash your hands after you use the
bathroom? You really want to put your
hands on my child? F*ck that.
this was pretty unrelated to your story

I was trying not to cause any beef since
we were staying with them and that is his
mom. So I had to think of the diplomatic
way out. I would have rather done like
you guys said and kicked the door in. I
would have also liked to smack her face
for being so sneaky, but eh. I don't
think i'm ever going to visit them
again...

she is his mom but so what, although you
didn't come out and say it, she obviously
was putting .Chu at risk......The fact
that he wanted to hold your baby upstairs
out of everyone's site sets off warning
bells in my head.
My .M.I.L doesn't like me either, she
tells people that dh isn't married and
I told her off when she said it to my
face.......And she said that I needed
christ because I was disrespectful and I
told her that just because she is dh's mom
she believes that that should get her the
ultimate respect, but I just had to inform
her that respect is earned.
