Hi all,
i'm 2 years down the road after having keyhole lapor surgery to repair my hiatas hernia. The frist 4/6 was hell, not being able to eat anything and thinking that it wasn't after working at all. Gradually it got better and after about 8 weeks I was fully recovered and my stomach felt perfect.
As last I was able to eat and drink what I wanted although not as much as before.
Unfortunately i've had a set back. 3 weeks ago I had to go abroad with my company and of course I spent the first week out on the town eating as drinking, probably too much!
On the 5th day I got a pain at the top of my stomach and ever since i've had the feeling that i'm back to where I was again, i.E. Pains just at the point where the hernia was before (at the top of the stomach).

Has anyone who has had the surgery been through the same thing.
I hope I haven't somehow reversed te surgery by over doing it Sad

john.
