i looooooove reading. It's one of my favorite things to do. Mr. Green

me too. It's like a drug, I freak out if I have no new books to read!! Lol

me too!! I start getting panicky. My husband's always telling me to watch tv when I run out of books. I've tried to explain that it's not the same. I'm a book junkie. I routinely run out of room and then either give my books away or sell them on ebay to buy new books. I kind of don't like to give them away tho. I like to have them so I can look things up sometimes. Sometimes i'll try to remember whether or not a certain character said or did something and if I don't have the book anymore I freak out, run to the store and buy it again. Lol. I'm weird I know.

Laura, she writes fantasy. My favorite fantasy authors are tolkien, lewis, rowling (i add her to this category but not sure if she should be there) haydon and carey.

I didn't mean the hobbit books were not written well, I certainly could not do better. I think it is that they are more of a history book. I enjoyed the movies, but started reading "the hobbit" a couple of years ago and never finished it. I actually never read part of the trilagy.

Harry potter books flow. I never thought I would like a book that my first grader was reading, but I loved them. I can't wait for .July. I'm going to order mine now.

My books are taking over this house. Aaron boxed some of them up the other day, and I got teary eyed. I could never sell them or give them away. I would probably have a panic attack.

Kay: I like fantasy Smile ooh actually... You might want to look on ebay for a book called "midnight blue: the sonja blue collection" from .Nancy .A .Collins. It's a vampire thing, and it's beyond awesome. I really really think it'll suit your tastes. If you can find it pretty cheap, trust me and pick it up. Wink

Okay, so I should have looked before I said anything. I didn't find one on ebay (well I did, but it was incredibly $24) but I did find one on amazon for like $5.

Whatever, the 6th book ended so stupidly I couldn't eat for like a week.

Dumbledore was way too cool to just pathetically die like that. Screw that. He shouldn't have needed a wand to do magic, he was just too super cool. Whatever. I can't talk about it.

I couldn't talk about the book for a few days after I read it, and usually I bore .Aaron to tears gushing about it. He kept asking me how the book was and .I'd just walk out of the room.

this is what it says on wikipedia:

"the first harry potter book was published in the united kingdom by bloomsbury in july 1997 and in the united states by scholastic in september of 1998, but not before rowling had received a six-figure sum for the american rights – an unprecedented amount for a children's book. Fearing that some of its intended readers would either not understand the word "philosopher" or not associate it with a magical theme (as a philosopher's stone is alchemy-related), scholastic insisted that the book be renamed harry potter and the sorcerer's stone for the american market.[14]"

i reckon it's not as simple as .Snape being the bad guy. I wonder if he and .Dumbledore had it planned or something? I don't know, I mean .Dumbledore seemed to really trust him so...

Sorry, i'm a saddo and I ponder on these weighty matters...Mr. Green

the phoenix thing I realized the moment I read it, but here's a site filled with reasons as to why dumbledore's not dead.

completely misleading url, eh?
