Q: Dancing And Sleep Myoclonus

I am a 65 year old male who 2 months ago began dance lessons that require rapid 360 degree right and left turns. At first the turns gave me vertigo, but that gradually disappeared. However, at the same time I gradually developed sleep myoclonus that consists of a right or left jerk or a quick back and forth jerk of the head. There are dozens of the jerks every night. I practice dancing every day with my wife, but I have laid off for as many as three days and the myoclonus continued. Do you think there is a connection and if so, will the myoclonus gradually disappear? If not, is there anything that can be done that will prevent the myoclonus while continuing with dance.

For the past 2 months I have had the same thing. Were you ever able to get it under control?
