I have hypothyroidism and I got pregnant but had a miscarriage when I was about 1 1/2 mo. Im almost positive the thyroid caused the miscarriage. But my concern is that my obgyn just tested me to see if I was ovulating and the results came negative...But im wondering if I can get pregnant if I didnt ovulate but I did have a period. Someone please respond. Thank you Sad Sad Question

Hi there,
i have hashimoto thyroiditis which means I will end in hypoactive thyroid soon. I have been trying to get pregnant and have had two miscarriages in the last 2 years. My problem however is since I have antibodies fighting my thyroid, I cant begin any hormonal medication.
From the information I have been gathering from doctors, I am under the impression that you should be on medication(hormons), which will put your thyroid in range and should then not effect your pregnancy. Are you taking any medication?
