Start saying mama?

I don't think .Alyvia is really "doing it" doing it, but she when whines and cries she goes "mmmmmmmmmm mama mmmmm aaaah ma mmmmm....."

she only does it when she whines and cries. She cries mainly because she wants to be picked up and held, and she's been going through separation anxiety where sometimes she doesn't want anyone holding her but me, not even her daddy.

I don't think she knows she's saying it, or if she knows that "mama" is the chick with long hair and yummy boobs, but... Neutral

Yea, she's just checking out the sounds that her mouth/tongue can produce!!

Oni did that!! I counted it as .Mama!! Ha! But then about a week later, .Baron walked in the room and she got wide eyed and went " Shocked .Daaaaaaa.Daaaa!" I refer to .Baron as .Daddy, only!!

Before you know it, she'll be mimicing *everything* you say/do!!

K, that's what I thought. I was pretty sure she didn't mean to say it or put any meaning into the word itself. It's just weird though because she'll cry for me when someone else holds her, look at me and say " Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad mmmmmmmaaamaahhhhhh~~ Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad" and everyone else is like "Shocked did you hear that??"

her separation anxiety is getting baaaaaad. We've been spending more time at the inlaws' to get her used to other people, but sometimes she really doesn't want them holding her. She'll pull her arms behind her back and lean towards me with her Crying or Very sad face and her mmmm's.

Oni was *just* like that!! But the only thing, she acted like that towards me too!!!

She just wanted to *get down*!!!! So I put her down, and she would squiggle, and squirm everywhere!!

She was very very independent from a very young age!!!

She got suuuper pissed and still does if you try to hold her back like a baby!!!!! I'd have to wrestle with her to get her to let me snuggle like that!! Crying or Very sad that started at like 4 months!!

So when she starts gettin antsy with the inlaws, try having them just put her down on the floor, or sit her up in her bumbo!! Then you can get down on the floor and play with her!!

Ya mama and dada are easy baby sounds for them (prob why we are called that) so they are some of the first sounds oyu will hear baby making.

Trey "really" started knowing who it was at about 10-11 months. Now this kid does not stop. He even calls me jessie when he's mad at me. Lmao

he mimics and talks sooooo much.

They're actually going to use him in a study because he talks 2 languages so well at such an early age. We go for the first meeting on sunday! His doc gave them his name!! Smile

Laura, .Amelia is going thru the same thing right now and has been for a while. She has a good way of making me feel really badly when I can't get her. It is weird because she will be all happy in her seat/swing whatever and i'll be in the other room doing this or that, and then if I pass by her to go to another room she will start jumping up and down all around crying and leaning towards me. Well i'll get her calmed down and she will be fine and i'll try to sneak away and she will throw a fit. Lol she is silly.
