Q: Question About Ovulating/timing

Hello,
my husband and I have been trying to conceive for several months. We had alot going on this month and he was out of town so we only had a chance to have intercourse once during the time that I think I was fertile. I had egg white cervical mucus on 1/26 and we had intercourse in 1/27. I was afraid perhaps we were too late but then read you can still conceive if having intercourse up to 3 days post ovualtion. Is this the case?

The other confusing thing is that my breasts became tender on 1/26 as well (the same day I had ewcm) so I assume that's just due to ovulation? But they're still sore. So, i'm hoping it's just still ovulation pain and hopefully a surge of hormones due to possible implantation but I guess it could just be pms breast tenderness as well. So many "what ifs!" Confused I know it's likely still even too early for implantation (if that were to occur) but could it still be tenderness from ovulation?

So, I guess i'd just like to hear other's experiences as far as timing of ovulation and conception. Also, did your breast tenderness due to pregnancy feel different than normal pms tenderness.

Extremely eHealthy
My breasts personally stay sore from the time of ovulation and then for about a week or week and a half and then it comes back a few days before my period. I don't think I could gauge whether i'm pregnant or not by how my breasts feel. The only thing I can trust is a positive pregnancy test.
