Q: Really Weird Question--input Greatly Appreciated!

Ok, so I am 22 years old and sexually active. I know this is a really stupid question and it is hard to explain what I am trying to ask...But here goes. So what does a normal vagina look like? I know everyone looks different but I am talking inside the hole area. Is it just a hole or can you see something laying right inside of it? When I look at myself I can see a little pink thing inside (not warts or anything of that sort). I hope you understand what I am trying to ask!!

Thanks!

Umm
I think I know what your trying to get at. Uh, the female part is not that pretty, are you talking about the inside, like the walls of the vagina, or like is there something sticking out? I think your best bet would be to ask a doctor or gynocologist, they would def. Know more about what your talking about. Like you said, everyone is different, and i'm sure that there is nothing wrong.

It May Be
A polyp so I think a visit to the drs would be a good idea. Have you ever had a pap smear done? I am prone to getting polyps so if I have any during my pap smear the dr removes them right then and there, it does not hurt you dont feel a thing when he snips them off. I am not sure if this is what you see. I am trying to picture what you are talking about and this is all I can come up with. If a polyp is left it can turn cancerous that is why pap smears are so important. Let us know what you find out.

I have never looked at my vagina that closely, so I cannot help you!

Wierd Question
Hey, I know it's late, but here's a thought to add to the list. Just because you have sex doesn't mean your hymen is completely gone. Plenty of women have a hymenal remnant remaining on or near the vaginal opening. Sounds to me like it could very well be that. It can look like it's inside, given the position you're laying (or squatting or whatever postion works best for you) or your infamiliarity with female anatomy. Mine kind of looks like it's almost right inside.

Re: Pink Thing
Yes, I think I know what you are talking about - a little pink nubby thing. I have wondered about that as well, but it's been there as long as I knew I had a vagina, so I imagine it's normal Wink I think the think to note is if you have always had it - anything that changes should probably be checked out by your doctor, but if you've had it all your life, it's probably okay.

Hotasfrick: there's nothing wrong with knowing your own body.

I never said their was anything wrong with it. I simply said that I have never looked at my vagina that closely. So let's not get all defensive for goodness sakes.

I wouldn't run to your gyno but next time you're getting examined, ask her about it.
