How long should a person wait to have their gallbladder removed if it has
12 small stones and gallbladder is otherwise healthy. No sludge, no inflammation, however, 3 gallstone attacks in one month--diagnosis then made of 12 small gallstones. What is the time-frame on this type of situation?
Healthy male age 18, stones and attacks are a brand new problem.

Especially eHealthy
I think its more of a personal preference , I am in the same boat and since january i get a pain attack once a week and 4 in one week last week. The dr told me to let him know wheni wanted it removed and im waiting on a call back from him actually to set up a constult. I chose to do this due to the frequent pain attacks and my husband might possibly be deployed soon. So i didnt want to run into problems with him not being here etc. ID prob get checkups if u choose to wait it out to make sure all is ok with it though.
