Q: Is Divorce Rate Higher For Internet Savvy People?

Many feel that divorce rate higher for internet savvy people with following valid reasons

1) chat rooms and sites which reunite friends make it easier for unhappy husbands or wives to meet other people and possibly go on to have an affair.
2) they work long hours (even at home) without giving enough time for family affairs.

What is opinion about it? Do you think it can be true?

my opinion is yes, I think the internet has led to more infidelity...The "grass is always greener", right?

Like in my case, my wife was taken in by a salesman who started emailing her and soon enough they developed a relationship and started talking all romantic and stuff. When busted, she promised no more communication, then I find out she simply started wiping the emails off her blackberry, but continued on via her outlook exchange. When I busted her on that, now I suspect she talks with him via her office phone (she had a couple calls on her cell in the beginning, but I confronted her with those too so they quit that "those were business calls" she says!). It never ends with a cheater, does it?

I think people that cheat or have affairs have low moral period. If you dont have the guts/heart/mind to tell someone your with that you arnt feeling it or want to find someone eles your a peice of caca sorry.

The reason the divorce rate is getting higher is that people are getting poluted by this roten society.

Color of paper you are right to some extend...But we can't ignore our society. So we have to make clear our stand to this society first. I feel sorry for dpantelones but I think we can't force one for any relationship.
