How high should an adult's temperature get before taking them to an emergency room???

If non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) like acetaminophen, aspirin, ketoprofen, ibuprofen etc. usually don’t help decrease the temperature and the temperature rises over 40oC, a person can be taken to the ER.
