Q: Insurance

About a year and a half ago my husband became self-employed and we lost our health insurance. We figured that we would just get an individual plan for our family. It never occured to us that I would be uninsurable since my tumor was completely removed and benign.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? I am a 29 year old stay-at-home mom and am considered, we looked intoneshopinsurance for quotes, and still looking for suggestions from other forum members, kindly share your experience and ideas.

(if my husband ever decided to go back to work for a regular company with benefits, then the companies health care provider would have to insure me. But unless and until that happens...)

Where do you live? Every state has different insurance laws and every company has different underwriting guidelines. I might be able to be of assistance if you live in nevada or utah.
