Hello everyone,

this is my first post here... I need some help very badly. I have a sexual problem that is killing me each and every day.

I was a normal, healthy man with spontaneous and powerful erections.
In the summer of 2000 I stumbled upon some porn sites and my life has
taken a dramatic turn ever since. I started to watch porn movies in
2000 and while watching it for a long time I eventually masturbate
(without even going to the restroom, I masturbate by playing with my
penis without removing my pants). This became a habit and by the end
of summer 2000 I had seen so many porn movies and masturbated like
almost 4 or 5 times a day! The habit continued and the frequency of
masturbation thru porn movies reduced but nevertheless it was daily
routine now. For the past 6 years I have been doing the following:

- watch porn movies on the internet
- play with my penis while watching porn
- masturbate after keeping my penis erect for around 4 to 5 hours
- on most occassion I ejaculate more than once

it is extremely shameful and disgusting but this has been my routine
for the past 6 years, 2000 till now! I am now facing the following
problems:

- very rare spontaneous erection
- no morning erections
- when I pass urine it spilts in two streams
- can get erect only by playing with my penis
- very weak erection even if I get one
- penis does not rise while having an erection (very weak)
- penis won't stay erect continuously even for 1 minute if I don't use my hands
- masturbating and ejaculating does not have the pleasure and
sensation I used to have before I became a victim to this shameful
addiction
- after masturbation feel pain in the penis shaft

i am also having the following physical problems:

- pain in the lower tail-end of back
- leg pain and tired feeling of legs
- unable to concentrate
- foggy thinking

please help me. I am dying every day Sad

Sounds like you need to go to a doctor and talk about some of your symptoms. Diabetes, high blood pressure, and other conditions can cause erection problems. And since you have other non-sexual symptoms it's best to get checked out.

If it's all related to your habit then there are things that can probably be done. You can be treated for porn addiction. You can talk to therapists or sex therapists. If those alone do not bring back your erections then you could look into further options. Viagra, herbals, and/or replenishing what your body needs (the food and supplements that provide you with all the necessary ingredients and precursors to achieve and maintain erections) could help you achieve and maintain erections.

I don't know what is causing your problem, but it sounds like you need to give your penis a break and talk to a doctor. You're habit is not disgusting, it's just excessive to the point of hampering your life.

Hey hcpornaddict

I have also lost my morning erections and penis sensitization. I think my issue may be related to using the drug Propecia for hair loss, but it has been 17 months since I quit the drug and I am still having major problems. I'm wondering if this is due to overmasturbation and watching too much porn.

I have been masturbating 2-4 times a day (virtually everyday) since I was like 13. I am now 24. However, I suddenly lost my sex drive in June 2007 for no apparent reason. I also have the same erectile problems as you, but no pain anywhere. I also lost my morning erections and my semen seems watery and very low volume. I understand that my current low sex drive could be psychological, but it doesn't make sense that my morning erections have completely disappeared or that my semen is so low volume now. I havn't had a single morning erection for over 6 months now. I've done numerous blood tests but doctors say everything seems fine with testosterone and other relevant hormones.

I only masturbate maybe twice a week now, but I just force myself to do it because I want to see if my sex drive and sensitivity is recovering or not. I have no sex drive and my penis feels numb. I have the same problems with sex too. I just cant get aroused anymore and neither I nor doctors can explain it. It has been quite devastating. I've been like this for 17 months now.

I'm wondering if watching too much hardcore porn has caused this. I noticed that I was watching more and more shocking material in order to get aroused. I'm going to stop watching porn and lay off masturbation for as long as possible. I'm still not sure if propecia has caused this or maybe excess porn.

Do you still have a strong sex drive (do you get sexually aroused easily) or do you only have erection problems? Did this happen suddenly or gradually? Have you recovered and what have you done to recover?

I hate to sound cynical.. but the original poster seems to have pulled symptoms out of a list and has posted them to see who can guess what it is.

Anyone else have that feeling?

something doesn't add up to me either lovemysoldier. i can't put my finger on it (hehe) but it seems that if he thinks he knows what the problem is caused by, why doesn't he just stop it?

why would you allow yourself to become so dysfunctional if you KNOW what's causing yourself to become dysfuctional to begin wth?

my b/f looks at porn sometimes, and i'm pretty sure he masturbates sometimes using that as inspiration. he also tells me that he DOESN'T do it a lot because he really wants to enjoy his time with me and that would take away from it.

i wonder why it is that people don't seem to be able to take responsibility for their actions. if something you're doing is causing you damage, STOP IT!
