Q: New Haircut!

I got my hair cut yesterday, but was being lazy and didn't post a pic or anything til now. It's longer than .I wanted it to be, but apparently working off a pic was not something my stylist could handle. Whatever. Better too long than too short!

I like it! You look older than 15. And yes, better too long than too short. Last time I got my haircut she ended up having to "even it out" so much it ended up being like 2 inches shorter than I wanted.

when .I got my hair done for our "snowball" (winter formal) last year the stylist screwed up big time and singed the end of my hair with the curling iron. I ended up losing an inch, and it sucked majorly. They comped the $120 appointment, but .I've yet to go back there. That is just unforgivable! The only one allowed to screw up my hair that badly is .M.E!

I like your hair. You are only 15 years old??? I would have never guess it. You don't look old, but mature. You look really good.

I also have had horrible experiences with hair dressers lately. When I lived in columbus, I had nice long hair - grew it during pregnancy. I told the hair dresser to give me a style. He went crazy and chopped it in all different lengths. The color was horrible on me and each side was different in length. You know you have a bad haircut when you go to work and no one compliments you. At least people didn't lie!! One person said that she liked me better in longer hair. I actually appreciated her honesty. At least she said something. It has taken me a long time to get my hair to shoulder length. The color is still odd and probably will be for a while, but oh well.

Your hair looks so thick and healthy. I will soon be using dang rogaine for woman. I look like I am balding - at age 32. How sad is that???

been there, done that! You can't see it in the pic, but currently my hair is this awful reddish color that doesn't look good at all with my skintone. It was supposed to come out dark brown (natural instincts dark brown 28.) but instead the dye was actually chestnut (natural instincts dark roasted chestnut brown 28.B). I have two weeks and three days until .I hit the six week mark and can have it dyed again. That countdown is almost as important as my .Spain countdown!!

Hair Grows!
You look marvelous! Hair grows.............Hair is not everything. What if you were a cancer patient? Or someone with a disease who suddenly lost her hair? You are still the same person? Ofcourse you are. You have personality and those who thruly love you, will continue, otherwise, they were never your true firends!

Love it ~ and send some of that "look of maturity" over here .I look 16 most of the time 18 if .I'm lucky. I've been married for 4 1/2 years and .I'm 23 thats not right!

I also have had a problem with my hairstylists recently. Since .I moved to .M.N I have yet to find someone who can complete a simple hair cut (or even a trim since .I liked the one .I had when .I moved here.) meh why is it so difficult .I don't understand. I have a pretty good horrer story but we will leave that for another day.

Your hair looks really good!! I think I need to do something with my hair because I was somewhere the other day & .Kaylee was sitting on my lap & this older lady out of nowhere says ".Ohh she's a doll, is she yours??"... I smile & said ".Yep, all mine" & the lady says (kinda mouthy) ".O.H, well how old are .Y.O.U?" ...I told her 20 & she said I don't look a day over 16 lol... Yep time for a hair change I think ... But I don't know what do to with it..

But anyways lol, sorry for the rambling, your hair looks good Cool

Warning: sometimes a haircut doesn't do the trick with age. I won't forget when I was 24 and went to the gap to buy something right after I got my hair chopped. I chopped it to look older. The cashier, a young man, asked me if I was using my parents credit card. I actually didn't find that funny. I was a little ticked off. I had cut my longer hair to look older and then found out it probably made me look even younger...Grrr.. That was just my experience, though.

Now I think shorter hair does make me look older. I don't care about looking older now because I am 32 - now I just thinks it's funny if people think I am a lot younger, not annoying like I used to. I will probably enjoy this for just a little while longer.

aw thanks! And thanks for all the other compliments, guys!
Just to show how easily fooled some people are...There is a bar in the middle of the bowling center I go to every day for my school's bowling team practices and matches. Well, today I plopped my purse down on the bar, looking for my chapstick. They don't care if we sit there, since it's right across from our lanes, because they know we won't be ordering anything. Well, apparently there's a new bartender, because today, as I sat digging through my purse, he asks what I wanted. I looked up at him like, "huh? Shocked" and then was like, "dude, i'm fifteen!" .He said "no way! Lemme see your id!" I carefully explained that because I was only fifteen, I had no id! This guy was in shock! He seriously did not believe me!
