Back Pain Answer A2255
Given the symptoms, (back pain, neck pain, numbness and tingling in right arm) you might be experiencing a kind of compressive neuropathy of the spinal nerves that innervate the back, neck and arms. The spinal nerves are the nerves that come from the cervical and thoracic region of the vertebral column. Compression is usually caused by spondylotic changes of the spine (osteophytes of intervertebral disk’s protrusions) that create pressure on the spinal nerves’ roots. You can visit your primary health provider and request an X-ray image of the vertebral column to confirm or exclude spondylosis.
