Uhhh.. I don't really know how to word this
but uh

behind my left testicle is a big mass of idk what, the only thing I could think of is maybe a hernia, I know my brother had a hernia, but that is also because he worked out a lot, I have had this for a long time and I never knew if I should ask anyone, it seems like its kind of attatched to my testicle, but I dont know

i dont want to get it checked because im kind of embarresed by it, I know this summer though I will get a physicle

anyone know what this could be?? My right one doesnt have the same as my left.

Anyone know what this could be?

I have this. I went to the doctor about it and it turned out to be the "epydepimis" which is all part of your testicle. If youre that worried dude, get it checked!!! Chances are its nothing and itll be a huge weight off your mind. I thought my lump was cancer but cancer of the testicles is often a lump not attatched to the ball itself.

You should always go to a doctor when you find lumps on or around your testicles.

It could be your epididymis, but the one on the right should be similar, but I don't know if that would be a guarantee of similarity. It could be a vein, such as a varicocele (varicose vein of the testicle).

Go the doctor and find out. Then in the future you'll be better able to notice changes and know when to go the doctor again. Don't be embarrassed, they've seen everything. If you have a female doctor, switch to a male doctor. If you're uncomfortable with males, get a female doctor. Ultimately, they're doctors and that's their job and they don't judge you so either would be fine, but if you have to do something to make yourself more comfortable about it, do it.

Well the thing is im not embarrassed about the doctor, its my family. I could care less about someone I don't even know , but my family is always there

i think I will wait a year when I get to drive and maybe check on my own without anyone knowing since it seems to not be that serious

thanks for the help guys

but there is no way it could be a vein.... Its way to big for a vein, I think its bigger than the testicle itself

How do you know it's not serious if you don't know what it is?

Ask your parents to make an appointment and see the doctor yourself. They may have to know what the diagnosis is, but they don't have to be in the room while you're examined.
