I do not have health insurance, but will
hopefully be getting some soon so I can
start going to a doctor. I am trying to
get some idea's of what I might have
though, so I can atleast reasearch what
causes some of these things and any little
steps I can take to help, until I can see
a doctor to find out for sure. Here are
the things I deal with on a regular basis
that I can think of right now.
Hair loss: over the last 2 years my hair
and thinned out and i've lost a lot of it.
After only a few days my brush is full
of hair, every time I take a shower tons
of hairs falls down to the drain, and
through out the day i'm lossing hair every
where I go. In the last 2 years my pony
tail size has recuded to about 1/3 to 1/4
of what it use to be. I use to have to
wear pony tails for fast food jobs, but
anytime I wasn't at work my hair was
down.
Irregular periods, I usually don't go more
than 2 months in a row of my period being
regular, usually i'm a week early or 1-2
weeks late.
Very dry skin. I have found that
petroleum jelly works great for dry skin
so I put it on at night on my hands, arms,
feet, and sometimes legs, depending how
dry they are. After a few days my skin
for the most part is smooth and not dry or
oily, but if I miss more than 2 nights of
putting it on, my skin dryes up pretty
bad
excessive sweating
joint pain, especially in the knees. I
have had my knee's looked at and went
through therapy but there were many things
that they thought might be the cause and
even after therapy it would have taken a
lot more tests to figure out what the true
problem was. I had to move and then lost
my health insurance which is why I wasn't
able to finish.
Easily lose my breath, I have exercise
induces asthma
i go through phases where I get "hot
flashes." it can be cold or the
temperature just fine and I will suddenly
get really hot for no reason.
I get random abdominal pain, as well as a
shapr pain in the entire area below my
belly button almost anytime I have to
poop, and occassionally when I need to
pee.
I'm only 21. Since high school i've
dealt with irregular periods and excessive
sweating, at 18 I got my knee pains, 6
months later and shortly after my 19th
birthday, I noticed quite a bit of hair
loss.
Since then i've noticed abdominal pain
that wasn't related to starting my period.
Dry skin has also gotten worse over the
past 2 years.
Any ideas? Anything to get me started in
researching? If I know what my symptoms
tend to lean towards, then I can research
those different things, and it'll give me
a better idea of other symptoms to look
for so that when I go into the doc, i'll
have a better idea of what they'll need to
know about my symptoms. Thanks
