Q: Genital Warts?

Ok so I recently noticed some small flesh coloured bumps on the glands of my penis. I wasn't sure what they were and had never noticed any there before. So I went online, did some research and found a picture of genital warts that looked very much like what I have. So I did some more reading on the subject just to get a better understanding of what I might be dealing with. Now i've only ever had 1 sexual partner and i'm the only person she has ever had sexual contact with. We've been together for 7 years, she's had pap tests done every year and nothing has shown up on her end and this is the first time i've ever noticed this. We've always used a condom with spermicidal lubricant. So I guess i'm just wondering how I would have contracted this virus if we both have only had sexual contact with each other, and have always used a condom. I have a doctor's appointment next week to determine whether or not it is genital warts. But after looking at a few pictures, I am confident that that's what it is. Any feedback would be appreciated, thanks.

Genital warts spreads with condoms. Maybe she cheated.

I talked to her about it and she insures me that she hasn't fooled around with anyone else and I believe her and have always trusted her completely. Is there no other way to contract the virus besides skin on skin contact in the genital area?

I am no doctor, but my understanding is you need contact, and even then it doesn't always spread, so the probability of it jumping onto you from the guy next to you on the bus is probably very unlikely...Unless you got really close on that bus...

I had a urologist take a look and he said it was normal. But for whatever reason i'm still worried about it. It's been a month since I noticed these very small white bumps, almost like a white head pimple but smaller, they aren't going away and I don't understand why they would just appear one day with no warning. I wish I could remember what the urologist said it was but I can't. Argh! I was just so relieved that it was normal that I totally forgot what he said. I had recently been attempting to desensitize the head of my penis by rolling back my foreskin and keeping it that way while I walked around. I read this works well and it has. I was trying to desensitize it because i'm getting circumsized and figured I might as well do it now and get use to it before hand so it's not so sensitive after the operation. Could this have attributed to these white things? I have no clue. They aren't all over the head of my penis, just localized around the rim, you can't even see them unless you push the head downwards. Also, my girlfriend hasn't shown any signs of genital herpes and she's gone for yearly pap tests since we started dating so chances are it's not the worst that I fear. I don't know why it still bothers me though.

Well I think i've figured it out, lol, a matter of minutes after just posting. From what I recall and from what i've just been reading it's cysts due to dryness. That would make sense since the head of my penis is dryer these days since I keep the foreskin rolled back every know and then. Thanks for the feedback though, much appreciated.

You can get Genital warts from birth. It's supposed to be rare, but it happens. I've had bumps since I was 13 and they never went away and I never had sexual contact with anyone.
