For the last weeks or so now my baby hasn't been moving as much as he/she did before. Its starting to scare me because I don't know if this is normal I will be 38 weeks tomorrow is it normal for them to stop moving around as much at this point? Did this happen to you?

Yes, baby will move less as labour time gets closer.

But try things like drink some juice or soda and lay on your left side to see if that wakes baby up.

If I remember rightly you should feel at least 4 movements in one hour

By 38 weeks, your baby doesn't have much room in there! It's totally normal that his/her movements will be restricted.

But for your own peace of mind, do some movement counts. Drink something sweet (cola, orange juice) and lay on the couch. You should feel 10 movements/kicks within 2 hours or so. Watch some tv and make a tally on a scrap of paper every time you feel your baby shift around.

There were days when I wasn't sure if I felt .Alyvia at all! It's really scary. But things are most likely fine, hon. Just try the kick counts exercise and call your doctor if you get nervous. The nurses are there to help! Wink
