For several months now I have this pain in my heart that seems to be getting much worse (i am having trouble sleeping and getting comfortable thoroghout the day). I can only describe it as it feels like there is a weight sitting on my heart. It used to be only when I layed down, but now the pain is there almost constantly, and is also causing a burning, dull feeling behind my left shoulder blade.

I do have saline breast implants that I have had since 1993. I have never had any problems with the implants, but of course I am not sure if this could be part of the problem. I do not have any pain on my right side, only my heart and left, back shoulder blade area.

I also should let you know that heart disese is very prevelant in my family. My maternal grandmother dropped dead of a heart attack in her early 50s, my mother had a major heart attack in her early 60s, and my dad, who is deceased, had a quadruple bypass in his early 50s, as well as many other major medical conditions.

Extremely eHealthy
With a history like that you should most definitely be going to your doctor asap to get this looked at! Shocked

i hope it's nothing serious but please get it checked out just in case you need treatment to prevent things getting worse.
