Confused Hello everyone,
i am a newbie, I stumbled across the ovulex website and then across this forum, i've noticed quite a few ovulex postings. I really want to try this !!
I would be so grateful to hear from any users as to their opinions.
Also has anyone tried the conception cap?
Ttc since 2000, 2-mc, previous clomid use but really want to try something natural, clomid caused a lot of pain when ovulating. Look forward to hearing from you

Sara ,thanks For the Welcome!
Hi sara,
thankyou for the welcome.
So you are planning to try it soon? Are you a little leary?
I was kind of following jaemierin's postings as we are from the same province I kind of felt connected, I know that sounds weird. Laughing
anyway, it has been a long road, we took a break from all of the charting and temp taking, clomid etc as it started to run our lives. We are in the unexplained category at the fertility clinic, both of us have been tested with normal results. It is sooooo frustrating at times. I am so happy to find this site :d

Ovulex
Hi there
i've been on ovulex for about 6 weeks. I haven't had any negative side effects. I think it takes time for your body to become accustomed to the herbs. I noticed a couple of things right away, first it gave me more energy...I think that may be all the ginseng. Second it calmed me, i've had aniexty with regard to ttc as it has been over 18mo now, so I would have this achey feeling in my stomach all the time when I thought about getting pregnant. Now I feel more relaxed. I think that might be the st johns wort. Whatever it is...I like it!
It's cd12 and I think I o on cd15, so we'll see. I started taking ovulex to see if I could produce cm...So far there has been no changes, but it has only been one cycle. We'll see in a couple of days wheter or not that changes.
The herbs in ovulex all help with fertility. I asked my naturopath about it and she confirmed that, and said it was ok to take. I'm trying for one more cycle...And then I think i'm off to try iui. It has been a very hard 18mths. Trying to stay positive!
Good luck and I hope it works for us all.

Thanks!
Thanks for the feed back, I actually ordered it this morning so I will give it a try.
I was having accupuncture done all of last year and it was very positive, it helped me relax and regulated my cycles. I stopped going once the first snow fall hit, I live in the country and I am a big chicken Rolling Eyes when it comes to driving in the snow, the closest town is half hour away, so I haven't been in a few months now and I can sure see the difference, my cycle is all out of wack again! Cd-11 today
i am going to try the ovulex and go back to accupuncture as well, just maybe that will be the ticket!!
Wishing everyone a bfp in the months to come Laughing

Accupuncture
I agree...Accupuncture is awesome. I was seeing a tcm for fertility as well last year. I had those yucky chinese herbs that tasted aweful too. Between the naturopath and the tcm you'd think i'd be set...But the money it was costing to see both was getting out of control and then I started to stress about that too! So I decided to take a break from both since november. My cycle is regular, 26 days bang on...I just get this pre af spotting. It usually starts a week before af is due. Natural progesterone cream seems to help. I had a lap in october that showed mild endo, apparently that might be the cause, but can't say for sure.
Well...Keep us posted on your ovulex progress.

O - I did reply to your other post, but just some other thoughts I had. I really liked the ovulex. I had no side effects and it was simple to take.
I was on it for 3 1/2 weeks and got my bfp! Hubby and I were trying for 6 months - I had come off the pill after using it for 13 years, so my af's were irregular to say the least. I was averaging about a 51 day cycle. Af's never did sort themself out before I got pregnant - oh well!!!!!!!!!
I also thought herbal was the way to go before I started looking into other medicinal methods. I was given until may to try on my oen, then hubby and I were to go into see a fertility specialist.
Honestly, this time around, I was soo busy at work, and so tired of seeing those bfn's, that my mind was somewhere else other than getting pregnant (well, of course it was still in the back of my mind!!!!!). I think the fact that I was not constantly thinking of it, and being busy and taking the ovulex (and maybe a bit of good timing and prayers being answered, lol!!!) did the trick!!!
Let me know once you get it! Oh, remember to keep it int he fridge after you open the bottle!!!!!!!!
Keep in touch! Wink

Awww. My hubby really wants twins. I think twins would be fun to have, but a lot of work when they are babies. How is the pregnancy going for you? Do you have to do anything differently because you are having twins?
