Implantation bleeding is very light and dark bleeding, it is caused by the egg attaching to the uterine wall.

Am I Pregnant?
I am in my first month of taking the patch and I am 4 days late. Then today I started getting this really light spotting that is brown. I just read posting that said the patch doesnt start working for 3 weeks and I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend in this last month. I have also been getting hot flashes and then I feel really sick, like im going to throw up. My boobs have also been really sore and have gotten a lot bigger but that might just be from the patch. I have been really tired, exhaused. And I have a head cold, I read in another forum that several women had head colds when finding out they were pregnant. What do you guys think? Please somebody let me know.

Well that is exactly what I was on the patch and found out from my doctor that it didn't start working until 3 weeks later, that was aboyut 5 weeks ago. I have all the regnancy symptoms but I am going to wait until next month to take a test. Now I do know that the patch makes your breast get bigger. I have been feeling like I have a head cold, but I don't know. I would say take a test but know that you can be pregnant and still have a period, so take a test and keep me posted...Good luck
