I know all about insulins uses within diabetes but what are its other uses.

Non-diabetic uses of insulin

Insulin can be used in cases of artificial (parenteral) nutrition with intra venous infusions. It improve the glucose absorption by the cells.
It is also used for treating some cases of poisoning with Calcium channel blockers (Veraspamil, Nifedipine) together with glucose infusions.
