My name is kinda orignal if you're interested in different names. Whitley ashton....I've never met/heard of another person named whitley and only 2 people with the name ashton (ashton kutcher & a girl who I go to school with). My mom also considered naming me collin (callyn, collynn) & ryan (rhian, ryann, rhyn).

I love the name claire too...But I wanted something a little more modern...I went with the name claira. But I love the name macy. I am naming my next girl ( if I have a next girl) macy. I also really like the names riley and chloe.

For boys...My sister in law is naming her baby kayden andrew. My cousin just named her baby toby. I also like the name cole...Colie for short.

If I have a daughter her name will be payton jewles and if it is a girl it will be trey stephan

I have thought for a long time that I would name a daughter katina until I met this horrid woman at work with that name. No, I think I would name a daughter emma.

My husband wants to name a son kevin or keith but he has several cousins and uncles with those names so I will probably try to persuade him to go with jacob, jake for short.

I thought at one time when I was much, much younger that I would like to give my child a unique names but I don't want them to hate me if I named them something stupid. I have a friend named cancer, a guy, who has a rather odd relationship with his parents. I have another friend who was named kinzzie but changed her name after she graduated because she had trouble getting a good job.

To me, there's nothing wrong with going with something more traditional sounding.
