Q: Names!! Boys And Girls..

Okay.. Lets swap some names for boys and girls.... Okay for a boy I like the first name hayden or cash. If I do pick an original name for my child then I need a more traditional middle name (in case they really don't want to go by their first name). I'm also thinking of commadore (which was my great great grandfather's name) for a middle name.

Okay, for girls.. I think claire. I love that name. I need more ideas for girls names!!

If any of ya'll get a chance get back to me!!

Katherine is a strong old world name which still translates well into modern times.

Alternatively cluadia is also a strong name which has remained popular for many generations.

Names You May Use
I found my daughters name in a poem, genevieve. I loved it and we call her genna for short. I've always like catherine or cat for short of that. What about audrey for something classy...Most imortant is that you have fun and like that name. Hopefully you'll be calling it for the rest of your life.

I really like noah (boy) and noelle(girl)... But what really matters is the last name, i'm finding. My favorite baby names that's i've collected since girlhood just don't sound that great attached to the last name of my guy. It's a bummer. What goes well with baņos....? I like my last name much much better but alas---- all is without hope in that department... Any ideas?

Re: Baby Names
I went threw tons of names. I know I wanted to name my little girl ameila.. Sense I already knew I was having a girl. But I couldn't think of middle names for her.

At first it was

ameila piper and then I changed it to ameila evangelina, but I ended up naming her ameila parris-grace.. Aka mia.

As for little boys names

i would have choose matthew jaiden or mykah zachariah.

I am very superstitious and protective when it comes to names for my future babies I learned this after my husband and I chose our sons name when I was pregnant. If the name you have chosen is perfect for you I suggest keeping quiet as soon as you speak up you have half of the world (or so it seems) telling you they know someone by that name, or they steal it. The other half of the world wants to talk you out of it. The most important thing about the name you choose is that you love it and you can picture callng your precious baby by this name as well as your full grown son or daughter. Even if the name you choose happens to be a popular one it dosen't matter because your child is going to be the most beautiful and unique individual you will ever know. The name they carry will be perfect for them and once you begin calling them by it you will wonder how you could have ever considered naming them anything else. When I was pregnant my husband and I liked the name jaden (see it's popular now!) I had a hard time imagining calling my son jaden because I thought of jaden as having blonde hair and blue eyes. I am spanish with darker features so this seemed unlikely. My husband must have known something I didn't because out he came blonde and blue! Pregnant women are psychic (i swear!) I am sorry I have gone on so long baby names are one of my favorite topics they are the first step toward developing our identities, it is kind of neat to think of our own parents tossing around our names at one time. As for my superstition I think that as soon as you speak the name to someone other than your partner it becomes the most popular name in the universe. I love my son's name and it is perfect for him but I can't tell you how many times I have been at the mall an 20 jaden, jaiden, jayden, jadynn's go running by! I have two names boy and girl picked out right now, but I will never tell!

How About...
:d my boyfriend and I picked out holly ann for a girl, and junior for a boy. I really don't like junior, but holly ann sounds pretty when you say it out loud.

The name you choose is very important. But what no one mentioned is to make sure that your child will also like their name. You do not want to name your child in a way that they will almost definately be made fun of. There are many beautiful names out there and you need to pick one that is special to you, and your baby!

If you love claire, but still want something original why not translate it into another language... I'm italian, so it goes to chiata (key-a-ta).
Just a thought Smile
