What in the world was I thinking? I am on aviane, i'm a sunday starter. I was supposed to start inactive pills on sunday (i really never take them, instead usually throw them out). However, yesterday (sunday), I started a new pill pack and took an active yesterday and today. Well, I did not realize until this evening what I did. I am actually starting my period anyway, but is it ok to just take the inactives and start a new pack on sunday? I can't believe I did this, i've been on the pill for 5 years!

if you miss any inactive pills, throw them away and keep taking one pill per day until the pack is empty. You do not need back-up birth control if you miss a inactive pill.
