Do I Have Chyomidia? Need Help!
Posted: 01-22-07 17:22pm

I have recently slept with a girl who just tested positive for chyomidia and im pretty sure I have it. I have a slight burning sensation when I go to the bathroom? Can I get tested at my reg dr? Or do I have to go to a specialist? Also ive noticed that I have what looks like small warts around and in my anus? Could this be related?

what do the anal warts mean? Is it part of the chyomidia? Or is it something different.

Yep, if your gf got clamydia you can bet that you have it as well. You have to go your doctor to get it treated. It is treated easily. I never have had it but I used to work the company that makes the antibiotic that they give to treat it. Only one dose of powdered zithromax and voila.

Can you tell me how old you are if you don't mind me asking?

Last year I had clamydia and was sleeping with my b/f for almost a year before I found out. He went to urgent care to get tested and he was negative. They gave him the antibiotic as a precaution since the test does take days to get back. Just because she has it does not mean that you do. Get tested though just in case.

yeah well I get a slight burning sensation when I urinate... Does anyone know what the anal warts might be from? Other than the warts and a slight burning I have no other symptons

Most of the time anal warts are the result of contracting the human papilloma virus (hpv). It is transmitted sexually, but not necessarily through anal sex (in case you were wondering, "but how the heck did they get there?"). You will have to go to the doctor to get it treated. The warts are often cut or burned off. It usually takes more than one doctor visit to get rid of them all. If the warts are small and not very plentiful, you might be able to use a topical medication instead of having them burned or cut. Either way, you have to see a doctor, however. You should refrain from sex in the meantime as they are highly contagious.

your anal warts don't hurt? That's common. Many people have no symptoms with their warts, just the warts themselves.
