What should I do in preperation for my baby? Like what do I need to get as far as furniture? What do I need to do for me as well? Wat should my exercise be like? What should I avoid as far as food? I really need some friends. I have one friend thats supportive with all that im going through and I need some who can help me through this rough time. Also how did you guys tell your rents?

My advice: go to the doctor and read.

All pregnant women need check ups, the sooner you start them, the better. Your doctor should be able to answer a lot of questions for you.

Get some baby books. Start reading things like what to expect when you're expecting. You can often get books like that for very little money at garage sales. You can also look at your public library for baby books, magazines, videos, etc. That can be one of your greatest tools. There are even workout videos for pregnant women, so you can see exactly what kind of exercises pregnant women can do (although it's probably prudent to show any such videos to your doctor first to make sure it is safe for you since some women have high risk pregnancies and are not supposed to move around quite as much.)

I thought you said you just had your period? Now you're preparing for your baby? I'm confused.

did you get a pregnancy test or a blood test? Take a pregnancy test. This might be worrying over nothing.

I'm pregnant for the first time, but before this there were a few times I had scares. It was almost like I thought it so much that my body acted it out... I felt nauseous tired , irritable , but yea all in my head, a little psychosomatic if you will.

I understand you want to know everything , but hun seriously , the first step is finding out if you even are pregnant , if you went to the doctor , he should have done blood work or even a urine test.

If you have your period you probably aren't pregnant , although it is possible.

But in the meantime if you're still crazy for information look at a lot of the previous posts on this site , I found them to be a great source of info.
Look up sites online.

And one book I would recommend is johnson's mother and baby it has tons of information from conception to a child that is 3 years old, tons of tid bits , info on labour ... I swear I live by it.

Good luck with everything
