Hello everyone, i'm new here and I have a couple questions, first im 19 year old male, my name is matt. Ok on to the questions,

about 5 days ago I suddenly woke up with a very bad sore throat and headach and congestion. I took advil cold and sinus that night as with 2 nyquil liquid gels (aprox 8hrs after the advil) then later that first night I was extremely dizzy and had a 102f fever, I also was somewhat disorented, I couldent remember things I said or did and I had a very hard time standing up. I finally got to bed that night and woke up and fast forwarding I had runny nose, head ach, and sore neck and accisonal fever for about 3-4 more days and had been takeing over the counter cold medican and I also took (2) 500mg penicillin pills from a percripsion I have for a upcomming surgery. (my girlfriends mom who has some medical knowlage said it might help) that was a day ago that I took them. Now today I dont have a sore neck, but I do still have a headach, runny red eyes (they dont itch or hurt), a runny nose, and I am haveing memmory problems again, I keep forgeting what day it is and what ive eaten and what ive overal done. I am going to try and make a dr's apt this comming monday but I dont want to go to the emergency room because I dont want to scare my girlfriend or anything. I also havent told anyone except my older brother about the memory problems. I do not drink or use drugs nor have I had any mental problems in my past whats so ever. Any advice would be great. Thank you very much for reading and I appreciate any input. Thanks. :d
