I'm 25, female and have tachycardic arrythmia. My doctor put me on cardizem in july. I have since run out of my supply (have not been taking it since around oct/nov) and not longer have insurance, either. My dad is on atenol (sp?) and I know that it's much cheaper. So i've been thinking of seeing if my cardiologist will switch my prescription. My question though, is if there's anything worth trying from the health food store. I prefer to treat all things in a natural fashion and this is no different. Since i've been without my medicine my episodes are more frequent and the chest pains are getting worse so I really need to get something figured out. Any help?
