Q: Stopped Taking Pill But No Period

I recently stopped taking diane 35 because I have decided to change to a different pill next time I see my doctor (within the next week). I have had sex twice since I quit taking the pill using a condom (neither of which broke) but I am late for my period. I really doubt that I am pregnant but I am a bit concerned. Is this normal? How long does it usually take for your cycle to return after stopping the pill?

Thank you!

It depends. Some women go right back to 28 day cycles immediately after stopping the pill. Other women go many months before their periods come again. My first period off the pill came at 35 days. If you used condoms and they didn't break, I wouldn't worry about it. Your cycles are probably still adusting after the pill.
