I'm 17 yrs old and have a hiatal hernia. My family doctor mentioned he didn't think it required surgery, but I am in constant pain and have had to postpone my education and go on sick leave from work. Is there an alternative to consider other than surgery, cuz I sure don't want to live with a hernia for the remainder of my life.
