Especially EHEALTHy
Labor wasn't scary at all for me. It got painful at the very end and I agreed to pain medication, but after that it was fine. Just try to remain calm and listen to the nurse's directions. If she tells you to breathe a certain way, do it - if she tells you not to push, then don't, etc. They help women every day give birth, so their advice is golden.

I can honestly say that once it's over, you will barely remember the labor.

Short Form of My Labor...
I think I was pretty lucky! Except for the contractions (not to scare you more) but they are a big pain in the butt! They are like baaaaaaaaaaad cramps (well mine were anyways) they were coming on so fast by the time my mom came to take me to the hospital (they started at 4am) and got worse and worse but the time 8 am came. I didn't get my epidural until like 11 or so because they had to give me antibiotics for group b strep (is that what its called I forget) and before the epidural I got demerol, which just made me really groggy.... But I got two shots of epidural because the first started wearing off.... But even when the baby was crowned (i got a third degree tear I think or 2nd degree) she told me not to push ( to help the skin stretch as the baby came out) so I didn't which while her head sat down there it hurt but I consentrated pretty good. (i didnt scream or anything and the only time I said ow was when the doctor was stitching me back up again!) and that was that and like the last person said... You don't even hardly remember the pains after the baby is born. It is a little hard to walk afterwards but that's about it!

Sorry for babbling and hope this helps a little bit at least and good luck

(also, I didnt even want to leave the hospital, I wanted to stay the people there were so nice and helpful!! I cried for a week when I went home because I missed the nurses and the help and stuff)

Extremely EHEALTHy
Im 17 with a 8 month old.My labor was alright.I was actaully laughing though it actually. Before giving birth I was actually on my lap top and listeing to my ipod.Haha.It was good.

Any who,my labor was 12 hours long.I could hardly feel the contractions due to the epidural that they gave me.I was actually falling asleep through contractions. The only thing I suffered was a hemorrhoid and a 4 degree laceration. They cut me.Ouchhh.And that was a health forum. But now im fine.My son came out 7 pounds 7 oz && 20 inches. Born may 6.06
