I was told that a c-section decreases fertility, I had a c-section on july 4th with my daughter jalilah and I am trying to conceive again because I want my children close in age and im taking ovulex (just started today) and I just want to know if a c-section decreases fertility and if you have a c-section is it most likely that I have to have it again? The reason why I had a c-section is because she wasnt' dropping down and my doctor broke my water and she didnt drop so they had an emergency c-section.Wel someone please help me.

no I don't think that c-section decreases fertility. I have had 2 done and after the first I didn't have any problems conceving again.....I was actually on bc when I conceived my second.

You will have the option of trying .V.A.B.C if you want too. Now conceving so close after having your first child you haven't given your body much time to heal it'sself and I think that you should let your body conceive at it's own pace.

Good luck and keep us informed.
