Confused Okay, about a week ago I had bllod work done b/c I am pregnant. Today I got a call saying that I have chlymidia....I have only been w/my husband. I know when I askk him he is going to say that I didnt get it from him. So what if I can get him to go and get tested and he comes out clear-would that be possible? Where else could I have gotten it from?

you can only get chlamydia from sex. That is why it is called a sexually transmitted disease. How long have you been with your husband? One of you could have brought it into your relationship from a previous sexual encounter. It will not go away on it's own. If he is not treated he can continue to infect you with it. He will need treatment along with you.

"Chlamydia can be transmitted during vaginal, anal, or oral sex. Chlamydia can also be passed from an infected mother to her baby during vaginal childbirth."

no toilet seat infection there! lol Like ingi said, maybe one of you brought it into your marriag from an old relationship. If not then you may want to watch where he goes when he leaves the house. You know you didn't get it from anyone else so don't let him try and make you take the blame!
