Poooor Finn!

Finn had his 2 month appointment today (can you believe he'll be 11 weeks tomorrow?) and he got his shots. It was so heartbreaking! I've never seen him so upset, he turned so red and was crying so hard no sound was coming out and the tears were flowing down his cheeks. He calmed down the second I picked him up but it was so sad. He's sleeping it off now, poor little guy.

He's doing great though! The doctor couldn't get over how content he is and how strong he is. He weighs 14 lbs 8 oz (90th percentile) and is 25" long (95th percentile), so he's a big guy but very proportionate.

I just can't believe he's already 11 weeks old!

Lol, laura. I'm glad aly likes a beefy boy!

The doctor kept asking me to sit finn on my leg so he could look in his ears and stuff and finn wouldn't sit, he kept standing. It was really funny.

I forgot to ask while I was there but will he get more shots at his 4 month appointment?

my son just had his 6 month check up last night and he had 2 shots again. His next will be when he is 9 months old and he wont get any at that appt. They will prick his heel and check his hemoglobin level though. I'm afraid that will be just as bad! Not sure if every state or doctor's office are the same though.

I may get blasted for this one.

You know what was even worse?? The circumcision at 6 weeks. We really thought hard about it and decided to do it. He didn't cry during the actual cirumcision but he did cry after. I cried after!! I looked at his thing and couldn't believe that I had mutilated him. I had to clean and dress it for at least a week and it was horrible. Now he looks fine but that was the most horrible, gut-wrenching, make me feel like the worst mom in the world, experience!!!!
