Source of Stem Cells

Hi, all.
Can anybody throw some light on the following :

is the menstrual flow a good source of stem cells to harvest ?

My son is afflicted with dmd. If my wife is not a carrier(detailed testing underway) , this would probably be the safest source of stem cells for my son.Her four tests of random cpk within normal.
