Q: BC PREGO ?

I started using the patch 3 weeks ago and hadn't been on b.C for 3 months or more..When I first started the patch 3 weeks ago I had sex with my boyfriend and have had every day since then. I took it off last sat and had sex again. I started my period on yesterday, but was having all the pregnancy symptoms. Is it possible to have a period and still be pregnant?

Ok, I know that people think that after you have been on the pill for more than one month it is ok to have unprotected sex, but it isn't. The truth is, my doc told me for sure wait 9 months, if ever. It doesn't hurt to use a little extra protection. The facts are, yes you could be pregnant and have your period. The sperm could still be "swimming" inside of you for days after until they die. You are also most fertile two weeks after you ovulate and the day before you ovulate. Another thing, most girls freak themselves out so much that their bodies act like they are pregnant, afterall that is what the pill and the patch is for, tricks your body into thinking it is pregnant. If you are really worried about it, find a family planning in your area and get a pregnancy test, for free. Good luck!!
