I was just wondering if anyone has had an operation or knows of one where they remove the bowel from the illeum to the transverse colon. If so do you need a poo bag? And how long was you in hospital? Any other details would be swell, as I am undergoing such operation in february

thanks

I've had my colon removed and now have a permanent ileostomy.
I have been in hospital a lot with my crohn's and when l had my colon removed it was a 2 week stay.

You have probably had the surgery by now and l hope it all went well.
