Q: Breast Pain Due to Estrogen Replacement?

I have been on a low dose estrogen & progestin combination patch for about four months. I have had breast pain for a couple of months now. It concerns me for obvious reasons but I would like to know if this is common. My breasts feel knotted, large and very tender...Almost like they did when I was nursing (years ago) and they were engorged. I read something about estrogen replacement possibly causing breast tenderness. How could this be due to estrogen-dominance if I am taking estrogen because I was low in the first place? I have not had a period for a year and 10 months and had all of the typical and dreadful symptoms but the patch has helped tremendously. I never had tenderness like this even during my pms years. Any advise would be appreciated.
