My due date is march 27th 2007 and last thursday I went into the hospital because I was having contractions. They gave me an ultrasound and everything with the baby and me were just fine and it said I was 31 weeks and I thought I was only 29. Well they gave me fluids and the contractions stopped but not completely but they were not as close together and I was not having so many and they sent me home on complete bed rest. Two days later I continued to have 4-5 contractions an hour but I didnt go back in so monday I went in for a follow up and told my doctor I was still having contractions and he checked baby heartbeat and everything was fine then he checked my cervix, they never did that when I was in the hospital last thursday, and it is completely closed so now he is sending me to the cities to see a baby specialist. Why cant he tell me why I am having contractions? Why is he sending me to a specialist? That scares me. Im still on bed rest and still drinking lots of fluids but still having contractions. Some hurt and some dont hurt as much. Im just stressed and confused and my doctor cant answer any of my questions so I worry something is wrong!
